Greetings all, I'm looking to see who's planning on heading out to Grassroots this year in Trumansburg. I've been volunteering there for the past six years, and wouldn't miss it for the world. It's definately one of the better events in New York State in my opinion. I'll be heading out there from the Buffalo area, and might be able to give rides if anyone needs, but lets see who is going and if you've been there before who are you looking foreward to seeing the most.

Hey~~ I'll be there for the first time this year, I'm only about two hours from Trumansburg so that works out good for me. I'm gonna drive up after work Thursday night. The only thing I have a problem with is camping being so expensive~~ I hate the thought of paying forty bucks just to park my truck and sleep in it... I might have to work around that or stay in the national forest or something... eep.... I can't wait to see the Sim Redmond band and John Brown's body up there... ooo and the Bubba George String Band.... It's definitely gonna be a good time.

I'll be there! I'm flyering for Camp Creek so if you see me, say hi! I think vehicle camping is sold out (per their website...) so you may not have to worry about that option. Both Buttermilk Falls and Taughannock Falls are beautiful places to camp nearby, and Ithaca is the funkiest little city to eat/shop in, if time allows. Can't wait! :)

Grassroots was definately an amazing time. The 15th aniversary and more and more people just keep coming. Perhaps I might have met some of you kind folks there. Drop me a line.

hey brother~~~ It was an amazing time, actually this was probably the most fun I've had at a festival :) I'm still riding high from the energy. Umm... Maybe you saw me in the parade, I was at the very front of it beside the hooping girl (in front of the drums) with my face and belly painted and waving a flowy banner thing oh and i have dreads.. ah ha... I had a blast, I'm headed up to the gathering tomorrow and hope to reunite with some of my new friends....
