Change their mind

I have this friend who i told i was going to start tripping, thought he was going to be cool with this, and i immediatly regret the decision.

He always joked about drugs before i told him, (it came up a lot too because i was blessed with those stoner eyes even though i had never actually done it before)

So anyways now that i told him he's trying to talk me out of it and he's one of those guys who wouldn't changed his mind if his life depended on it.

So, i've done tons of research, read a bunch of books, the whole she-bang and he still won't listen to anything i have to say.

Any advice, facts, whatever would be greatly appreciated.

Well you don't really need to convince him do you? Just trip with him not around.

 

Yeah i know, but he's being a bung-hole about it and won't freaking leave me alone, i dunno, guess it doesn't matter that much.

 

just do it man, Im sure somebody else would be happy to trip with you if thats what your wantin.

 

Hey, tell him that you need to go your own way just like he needs to go his. If tripping isn't going to do it for him, that doesn't mean it's not going to do it for you. We need to celebrate our differences instead of accentuate the sameness.

 

Thanks for the advice, he's laid off now, and I'm gonna trip for the first time this tuesday
