even tho they never really "made it" in the mixed up punk world, they still are without a doubt, one of the most injoyable and fun punk bands ever.
They're the first British Punk band, I am pretty sure "New Rose" was the first song to come out of England that would be waht is considered first wave british punk.
yeah the damned are classic. they lost it a bit towards the end though. Their Naz Nomad and the Nightmares side project was a great 60s themed band though.
