hugs not drugs

I duno if u noticed, but did any u guys see those lame shirts at hot topic? like 'hugs not drugs' and 'drugs are for thugs' and like...a shirt with like srambled eggs and it says 'this is yer brain on drugs'.

LAME! what is this??? i mean, it seems to me that some straight-edge people like, think they are better or something just because they dont do 'drugs'. but, its not like us stoners are wearing shirts that say stuff like .."if u ain't tokin', u gotta be jokin..." (ok i cant think of ANYTHING witty to say here..but you KNOW what i mean, like 'straight-edge people suck' or something...) like i dont put down people who dont do the same things as i do so i dont get why some people do.LIVE AND LET LIVE,dammit!!!!!! i mean i have some straight-edge friends and they are cool with everything, like they don't judge, so i think thats good...but i tell u, its a mad mad...mad world.

like, some people who dont smoke or whatever put down people who DO...but i dont reely see people who smoke putting down people who DONT. dig? or at least i dont. i dont care if someone smokes or not. i cud careless either way.

 

It pisses me off when people talk bad about people who smoke weed... IMO If someones doing something and its not affecting you don't give a shit...

My girlfriend's friend (a big stoner this girl is) has a hugs not drugs shirt haha...she wears it with her NORML tote bag all the time

I also saw a shirt once that said, "Hugs and Drugs"

And it's all the fault of how they're taught pot is in school...yet no one yells at any of their friends who get shit-faced and pass out on a lawn or something...but they always yell at the kid who tokes up and then just chills all day.

 

I hate it when people look down on me for smoking pot or doing drugs. If I am doing no harm it shouldn't bother anyone, agrreed? It is just still socially unacceptable in most circles. There is a stigma attached to drug use. People don't understand it, so they stigmatize people who do it. The times they are a changing though, hopefully for the better.

 

I couldn't care less about what people think of me. I'm just a nice guy who happens to smoke pot, if you don't like me because of that, then I don't really want to associate with you. That being said, I don't really make it really obvious I smoke.

Oh yeah, and I wear DARE shirts just for the irony.

 

OH, YEA, I SAW THEM......i think that people just want a reason to hate , thats just how it is...whether you hate someone for not doing drugs or you hate them for doing drugs......people definitely have their drug priorities messed up also alcohol is okay cause its legal. and cigarettes are okay cause theyre legal, but what we dont realise it that those two things are worse than weed is. people dont know how horrrible tobacco really is, not just cigarettes, because i know alot of people who quit bigs and started smoking black and milds, LMAO! like thats any better!!! id think its worse, more tobacco on one hit, plus they smoke on it for like hours, and they buy like twqo packs a dday, so i dont see where they fixed their addiction.

 

We had to do these "skits" in health class this year. Its where everyone gets in like 6 different groups and comes up with a little mini play, then acts it out infront of the class. My group had to do one on marijuana, so just to be ironic as possible, I got the role of the "good friend" that saves the day and convinces his other friend not to do pot.

It was hard as FUCK trying to keep a straight face.

 

There was a girl at my school who wore that shirt that says "Hugs not drugs". About a week later she smoked with me by a creek around midnight for her 2nd time. can anyone say "Ironic"?
