If you look carefully, it looks like you can just barely see the secondary bow off to the left. It has the colors in reverse order (due to the double reflection within the drops). Sometimes a dark band is seen between the two bows.
Yep, shaggie, you saw it, the camera sucks. It was double all the way to both ends, but I couldn't begin to get the whole thing in my picture. The sky was a weird color.
Oh, that is just gorgeous!! I love rainbows! I always pull off to the side of the road to get a good view if I see one while I'm driving! You know how there are "storm chasers"? Well, I guess I am a rainbow chaser!! Thanks for sharing!
