why is everyone so worried right now about who is to blame?? focus on the people who are hurt or dieing or even died.. they need our thoughts and prayers right now.. find someone to blame later ..

This is dreadful - and I am sorry for those injured and killed.

But - it's been inevitable really that something like this would happen, esp. since our country has taken part in the invasion of Iraq, and unleashed just these kind of scenes on the Iraqi people on a daily basis.
People here though are more concerned about giving themselves a big pat on the back for winning the olympic bid than all that - if you watched the news yesterday you'll have noticed that the olympics and this whole phoney G8 thing has dominated the headlines. Sick really ina nation that is an occupying power (along with our good buddies from over the pond) in a foriegn country.
Easy to give a bored yawn over the latest bombs in Bhagdad, not so easy when it comes nearer home.

i dont think blair looked guilty. didnt think much of bush - his eyes were everywhere except looking at blair. blair looked humanly and genuinly upset i thought. ive heard back from everyone i know and theyre all safe tho my friend passed through liverpool st on way to work this morning - so lucky! hope everyone else hears safe news from their loved ones too.

about a year ago omar bakri made statements that this would happen.

    Quote:
Asked if a British Muslim was allowed to carry out a "terrorist attempt" in a foreign country, Muhammad said "That is another story."

He added: "We don't make a distinction between civilians and non-civilians, innocents and non-innocents. Only between Muslims and unbelievers. And the life of an unbeliever has no value. It has no sanctity."

hes still free , and there have been classes on how to be a suicide bomber in this country .we also have brits who have gone abroad and blown themselves up .

I dont see blair or bush getting people to blow themselves up as far as I know we dont have lots of arabic looking people prepared to blow themselves up for western imperialism .

isnt in more likely that the motivation is islamic

At last, a sensible post. There is NO excuse for such wanton murder of innocents. Blair Bush Policy? Whatever one's polititcs, what we are dealing with here is muslim extremism. These religeous fanatics, led by that other prick Bin Laden, have been looking for the tiniest excuse for years to do something like this, because they - blindly - believe they have a right to stamp their religeon and beliefs on the rest of the world through muder and intimidation. They don't.

It is a sad day when such religeous intollerance can send a blind fool to strap a bomb on himself and murder innocent woman and children on a bus. Truly sickening.

There are a lot more than 33 dead ... nobody walked off of that bus and it was packed. :(

Going on ambulance reports that I'm getting there are also now over 5000 injured and still 2 trains stuck underground.

However I get sick and tired of the anti-islamic shit posted by a few on here ... Yeah Islam is repressive but so is fucking Catholicism and every other religion ... doesn't mean you're gonna end up a nutjob bomber though does it?

Sorry to hear about the attack,

But now, finally, the UK directly knows what it's like to be Israel for a day.

Next time you liberal fanatics argue about the middle east, keep this attack in mind, and ask yourself if innocent civilians truly deserve to be murdered?

Yes, but only the Palestinian terrorist organizations are directly targeting civilians; while the Israeli government targets military targets, and accidently brings down civilians. If the Israeli government would target civilians directly, then no more kids would be running with rocks infront of tanks.
