Rolling joints is all about the thumbs, you just like push down and roll. Rolling blunts is about the pinch and roll. You pinch the paper back underneath the weed then twist it. Since blunts are usually long, you usually close it piece by piece, ie. close one end then move on down the blunt pinching and twisting then closing the middle down to the end. Sometimes I'll do both ends first then the middle. Whatever, there's so many ways, but the two key techniques to roll anything is pinching and twisting. I saw a video online of this guy from canada rolling the most hurt blunt I have ever seen. He like didn't pinch it or anything.. folded it shut and that was it. How can that even smoke lol. Another thing to remember is to always break up your shit evenly and thoroughly. The blunt won't burn properly if you don't. Also, core the weed before you roll it by pushing down on it with your fore fingers.
yeah, that exactly what i do. also, when finished molding it into the joint shape, tuck the longer end of excess paper into where the paper meets the weed and then roll.
Indeed a very good way! My friends and I call it back-rolling (I'm sure other people do as well). It takes a lot more skill, though, and you have to be very delicate and careful. I don't get it right half the time. I'll perfect it one day! Making joints is an art.
Greenleafs are awesome. They taste so much better and burn longer. I do the exact saem thing except that I use green leaf dutches.
My friend exclusively smokes greenleafs. And yeah, evenly grinded pot makes it easier to get the paper right up against the pot, meaning less canoeing. When rolling it inside out, to use less paper, how do you get the gum to stick? I tried to roll it, and I had everything ready and wet the gum strip, but then the gum stuck to itself and bits of pot more than it did the paper I put over it.

A few strong puffs help to loosen the seams up a bit (at least I think so) 3) Wet the end that you put your mouth on a bit 4) Carefully peel away the thin, green, outside leaf. Its wrapped in a spiral, you can see the line when you have the cigar. Peeling away the leaf is usualy easy once you get it started. The hard part is at the mouth end, where theres a thick roach paper. I've found that just cutting/ripping a bit of the mouth end off is good to get the outside leaf started. 5) Now you should have a long thin green strip of leaf and the cigar in a thicker brown wrap. Find the seam on this one and using your thumb nails, slowly break it at the seam. Its not too hard to do, you just need to be careful to keep the rip straight. 6) Discard of tobacco and get rid of the roach paper (if any is left on there). Put you herb in the inside wrap. Lift the whole wrap up and blow moist warm air on it, this will make it easier to roll without cracking it. It may be easier to lightly lick it or blow on it before putting the herb in it, I usually just blow on it all at once. 7) Roll that sucka. 8) Blow lots of warm moist air on the greenleaf. Wet an end and start to re wrap it around the inside wrap much like it was originally. Start at the end you plan to burn. Be gentle with it as it can rip. This is a good oppertunity to make the blunt tighter or cover up any small holes in the inside wrap. Make sure you keep licking the greenleaf too, to seal it up nicely. Alot of the steps can be done differently, I'm sure. Try doing things your own way if it works better. Dont bother with those blunt wraps either, they taste allright but seriously, what the hell are they made of? Greenleafs taste better too. Next time I roll a J I'm going to try it inside out. Oh yeah, one last tip, its easier to roll a fat J than a scrawny one. thats exactly the way my boyfriend rolls blunts. i really wish i could roll blunts or joints... but im not talented enough.. im gunna get my boyfriend to teach my how, so it'll be fine. what exactly is a spliff?
I think a true spliff is supposed to be a tobacco pot mix, but my friends and I just refer to skinny blunts or long joints as spliffs.
rolling is really a DIY learning experience. you keep doing it till you get it right. i firmly believe there is no wrong way to roll a joint, as long as it comes out nicely. if u r too stoned to roll a decent one, then smoke a bowl.
my joint method 1.kingsize silver rizla 2. add backy plus weed 3. add roach 4. roll around the roachcreating a lovely joint most of my mates roach last becuase thats wot all the "pro stoners" (guys in their 30's that have smoked them out one time a while back etc.), which i think is stupid as it takes longer and isnt as nicely fitting
I think the key to rolling a perfect joint or blunt is the "flip". After you've molded the bud till its ready to be rolled, lay your index finger across the spliff and use your finger to help fold the paper over, after that it should be a breeze. But if your still having trouble use a table or any flat surface for some guidance.
