Can't log on with my password

I'm submitting this thread on a computer at work because I can't get on the site with my home computer. When I try to login at home I get the error message that it's an incorrect password, though it's the same one I've been using and the work computer can login with it. Also, Outlook Express won't accept my password, but I can still get my email through Earthlink. Someone suggested it might be a virus or Trojan or something, so I ran four types of anti-virus and spyware software to clean everything out but it didn't do the trick. Any suggestions?

 

newo, this happened to me as well. Check to see how your browser is configured to accept cookies from this site. It should allow cookies from this site.

Additionally, the screen that shows up (at least for me) that has the logon id and password fields as well as the "Remember Me" field doesn't seem to echo back login id and password acceptance. Once entering your login/password combination, try to go into the site through another path. I attempted to go to "Your Posts" (remember the format of the old site's drop-down option boxes?), got the invalid link panel, chose the "Register" option, got the panel where you enter your birthday, chose "Hipforums" on that panel, and got into the site as a logged in user.

have you tried clearing out all cookies and temp files?

 

maybe you got keylogged? is the website target for someone?
