Have no idea what it's called in English, Columbina in Spanish. I just bought one, and tought myself some nice tunes. It's truly worth the 10$ I payed for it.
What would you call that? Lap harp, psaltery, zither, dulcimer, I dont' know, pick one. How do you play it? That might make the difference.
Its called a Dulcimer in English I believe...almost like an autoharp, but those have the button type keys you push down on.
That looks almost like a hammered-dulcimer.. If so I like that, some great indian music on that, really childlike, sweet and mystical.
it is a dulcimer....a hammered dulcimer to be exact...my buddy holly's parents make them...so i am pretty familiar with them
it's a zither. A hammered dulcimer will stand off the flat surfac and require hammers (duh on that one, eh?)
