Neither rain nor sleet or the stupidity of our "supremes" will keep me from my prescribed medication.Actually, this will work in our favor.Way too many states are up and arms over "biggest brothers" interference. The med mj was just the poster child for a upcoming battle for states rights.Believe it or not,the sheeple are slowly wakeing up.Even though congress just failed to pass a change in the law,it gets closer every time.

Something that wasn't mentioned about "smokeing" our med mj:smoking it allows us to control the amount we do.A pill is just that, swallow it and you go for whatever kind of ride it gives you. That, for me is not acceptable.I don't want to be wacked out on anything at all.For me and my homegrown,a little goes a long way, where as a pill, gives no control on the dose.Half a pill may not be enough some days,a whole pill way too much etc. Also, smoked mj goes thru a chemical change that has yet to be figured out.I don't like eating it either, for the same reasons:little control over how much to eat etc.Takes too long to come on,then lasts too long which makes me very uncomfortable.I will continue to smoke my meds, screw th' feds.

I'm a smoker, and I've got Emphezima. It's the vaporized THC that helps my lungs clean the tar & Nicotene from my lungs.

    Hi Matt,

I've got a vaporizer too, although it's still packed up and in storage,I will have it soon.I like using it,but it ain't too portable, and seems to take more to get where I need to be.

Here's a site where you can see how your "representative" voted.

    http://www.deasucks.com/essays/MMA_vote.htm

By my count there were 31 representatives, from states with Medical Marijuna laws, who voted "no". And 4 from those states didn't vote, I guess they had the day off or something.

    Peace,

Pansy may actually be on to something...our wonderful goverment (the one FOR the people) is aware of all kinds of things that are flowing through the masses, things that the average person just does not know.
Below is a site talking about some of the chemical poisons in our food (white flour) used to make them more attractive (bleaching flour).
    This is just one thing.

Also they will not let people buy their presciptions from canada. Meds run about a 3rd of the cost there from what you pay here.

    I could go on....
Anyway here is the site...and we should all stop eating white stuff...margarine,bread,sugar...bad bad bad...

Completely right, and there's a sound scientific reason why we should avoid processed foods as much as possible. Our bodies evolved to extract nutrients and thrive on the foods that occured in our 'natural' environment. Fruits, nuts, berries, shellfish etc - this is the fuel our bodies are designed to operate best on. Our digestive systems were not designed to cope with eating foods stuffed full of fat, salt, preservatives and additives. A better diet would save millions in healthcare costs for conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure and so on.

Also just noticed some reassuring news for older pot smokers, which may not get widely reported elsewhere:

when i was a youngun i didn't know this either. time, study and experience have taught me alot. some subjects for people who are interested in staying healthy to study up on are nutrition and what all's in the food (as has been mentioned here already), vaccines and other pharmaceuticals, what's in the air, and what's in the tap water. there are many others, of course. ya have to be open to sources other than the men in the suits and white jackets to really get to the bottom of what's going on with peoples' health. and... well...you just have to be open in general... and think for yourself.
