Hey, I am new to the forum, but not to weed. A question I have always wanted to ask: How do I stop getting red eyes. I thought years ago that it was because I was new to weed, but after thousands of bowls and joints my eyes always get red. It's a dead give away. I use Visine, which works great, but it is a pain in the ass to take. Any suggestions? I mean, even if I smoke a little, my eyes look like a Stop Sign. Thanks for any help offered. Glad to see there are so many fellow pot smokers out there!
get this stuff called Clear Eyes its like visine but it works hell of a lot better i know there are lots of others to get it clear but this stuff works for me..just dont drop it straight into your eye put the little nozzle on the outside and inside edges and tilt your head and squeeze..it dont hurt or anything just wipe up anything that dont get in your eye lol...peace and love you can get clear eyes at wal mart near visine shit
ya I hate visine, clear eyes clears up the redness and relieves your eyes too thats funny I use the same techinque for using eye drops
Red eyes are fine as long as nobody is around. But if you really have to use eye drops, I too would recommend ClearEyes.
Clear eyes is way better than Visine. it removes redness, and moisturizes I never use eye drops tho, after I smoke (if its at home) I always take my contacts out and put on my glasses, and they know my eyes get red after I do that. So no big deal.
Welcome to the forum. Yeah, everyone else already said the thing about clear eyes, but I'll say it too just so my post is on-topic. Sunglasses work if you don't feel like putting in eyedrops.
hey! well red eyes is just a part of nature when it comes to smokng weed. well not to everyone! lately my eyes havent been turning red...only if i smoke alot. but anyways, eye drops suck ass , esp. if u use them when yer stoned, they HURT and u get em everywhere! and yes, GLASSES rule!!! well do u reely need 2 hide yer eyes from lieke yer parents or anythin? if not, u shud jus be proud of them
Yeah, I only wear shades when I'm around my mom or grandma, if I'm going into public I just don't really give a shit, I'm proud of my state of mind, I've actually had some pretty cool convesations with people just because they figured I was stoned so I'd be a cool guy to talk to
i always have problems putting in eyedrops! i hardly ever use em, but it'd be good sometimes.. what the easiest way to put them in?
there is one method of eyedrops which is really the simplest to do, and safest. Ive seen so many people spray half a bottle over their face or poke their eye by trying to get the nossle in there on the side and that. the best method ive found is to look directly at teh cieling dangle the bottle directly above your eye, and look into the bottle if you do this, the bottle will be pointing DIRECTLY into your eye and, so long as your not holding the bottle a few inches above your face, the drops will fall right in, maybe after a couple of drops. the thing is, when you try to use the drops ith the bottle at any angle except straight down, you need to compensate for the lip of the nossle. so vertically down harnesses gravity, and line of sight principle. warning: dont let the tip touch your eye. if you get a little bit of bacteria or anything in there, it will happily fester. thats why they say discard after 4 weeks. ive never had a problem but to avoid horrible eye disease, keep the tip fromtouching anything
you have a good idea, but thats exactly why i cant put eyedrops in.. everytime i get to that point, and i squeeze the bottle, i twitch, or blink or freak out, cause i dont know, putting drops into my eyes freak me out.. i just cant do it! grrr:$
If there's bacteria on the tip of the bottle, wouldn't it just get carried down with the eyedrops anyway? I usually just stick the nozzle real close (between my eye lashes) and drop it in on the white of my eyes (well, usually they're red at that time) I have contacts so touching my eyes doesn't phase me anymore =D
Thanks for all the replies and tips. Cool, I will use Clear Eyes next time I go to Wally World. I hate using it, but my job requires that I "look" confident and under control. Sitting in a business meeting stoned is fine with me, as long as I am the only one who knows. But with red eyes, I feel every knows and is looking at me, then I get the paro feeling and start stuttering......it's actually quite funny. Thanks for the input.
the tip is not a frictionless, one directional tunnel entity. hey keep doing it, its just totally unsanitary. the cahnce youll get ill from it isnt huge especially if youve been a contacts person (probably have a better imune system for eye germs) isnt high. but if you never touch the eye in the first place its next to non-existant
