There are so many periods and angles that history can be viewed from. Which ones do you find most fascinating?

My favourite angle is definitely history from a woman's perspective, or how historical events affected women.

My favourite time period has to be 1870-present in American society, especially the sexual revolution.

    What about ya'll?

The Reinassance and about 1850-1910 in France. The progression of art and philosophy must have been truly breathtaking and inspiring during those times.

I am intrigued by the Renaissance Era. Each and every aspect of this period in time enthralls me. The psychological view, the sociology of the age, and the everyday lifestyle including food, clothing, music and literature.

Spain's entire history, especially the Golden Age and the Spanish Civil War- Present Day Spain. Also I'm interested in turn of the century culture and medieval culture from a woman's point of view.

Germany during the Weimar Republic period, it was the most progressive state of its times. Weimar Burlesque and Opera was also quite interesting.

There was a lot of political coup attempts during the Weimar period, and each group had a different political ideology and a different future for Germany and the world.

Discovering the massive climate-shift, that drove us from the spontaneous freedom of our previous State of Nature to our current repressed Civilized State and its growing psycho-pathologies, has been essential in my understanding of the last 10,000yrs of evolutionary human-behavior.
