I was wondering if anyone has ridden a motorcycle across the country? Any tips advice? Where did you camp? How much did it cost? Did you get heckled by the law anywhere?

I bet you didn't have a gas tank filled with white powder! I had a friend that traveled on his bike and you know where he is now? DEAD!!!!! Please don't do it. It's not the cycles, it's the other drivers on the road who don't care that you are there.

yeah, let's all be afraid to follow the call because someone else is a jerk.
C'mon. all bike rides have that element of assholes on four wheels.
I encounter drivers who don't look for pedestrians. Should I drive one half mile to work because these dorks can't drive?
Get out there and use all the good sense you can.

Cheshirecat, I'm sorry that you lost a friend. But don't lose your ability to live over it.
