anyone know what tidal waves and floods mean in dreams?? i have had so many dreams where im with friends or family on a beach somewhere and a huge tidal wave comes..like its enormous..500 ft in the air type of thing but i never die? i always make it out alive but it scares me to death..i hate it..and just the other night i had the weirdest dream...i was at a graduation of something and it was all girls and our mothers..and when our songs came on we got up and danced around and had to set up our tables of food and stuff so weird..and i remember a group had Loose Lucy and if you knew the song they encouraged you to get up and dance so i did..and right after that a man came down the stairs and said everyone had to clear out and get to higher ground because a flood was coming? so we all got on a plane and left..and i after we all boarded the plane i realized i forgot a stuffed animal..(ive had it since i was 4..my gram gave it to me right before she died and i always take it with me when i travel..weird but i feel like it kinda keeps me safe..whatever)...and i dreamt that someone found it and bought it from a lost and found at the airport and i was so upset when i woke up i had to remind myself that the dream never happened..how weird huh?
RaeRae13862, I think these dreams are to overcome your fears of change, to find it is a joy ... something that you are acting out rather than it is something put on you. Just know that you are part of the forces that create the floods and tides as well, and are part of the greater reality out there as much as you draw it into your awareness in order to change and grow. And so you seek the impulse of change, again and again. Now, being scared makes you pay attention quite a bit but then it is much like an engrained pattern that you can change, too. Just turn the tables and instead of hating it, go and love it ! As this is what you do anyway. The dreams ask you to clear out inside and get to higher ground within yourself.
