I personally wouldn't ever wear one of those, but if that's the way they feel about swimwear, then yay for them... However, it looks like it would become very...VERY heavy when wet. Gah, wouldn't that cause some complications with swimming and possibly drowning? Then again, if women wore suits in the early 1900's that were made out of heavier fabric...I guess these things aren't nearly as bad... I never realized that people were THAT modest. Though if I came from a very modest background, I'd rather wear a t-shirt and shorts, hehe.
Ah ok, haha. I know nothing about wetsuit material(except that surfers/divers wear it), but I'm assuming that it does not absorb water? Hmm, yeah, that would make sense. Please excuse my natural blondeness, heh.
I have an idea, since they're so freakin' expensive, we can all pitch in a bit and buy one together as a sort of 'community swimsuit', each taking a turn wearing it and then mailing it to the next person!...Size won't be an issue since they're so shapeless. Please realize I'm JOKING! hah..
yep, by crikey...those are some stunning swimsuits. bwaaaaaahahahaha imagine if they wore that getup on baywatch...oh the comedy
Eruna..too much skin showing for Muslims, I believe daisymaeWell, at least they won't get a sunburn.....or have to worry about pubes or a tampon string... hahaha, nope..no shaving needed for that one!
Hmm I don't want to have to be the next person on the list to wear it after supermommy ........and I'm not sure if it these costumes are going to work on the modesty front, after all everyone is going to be staring at you because they have never seen a suit like that before......couldn't they wear a small pair of shorts and a sensible type of bikini top instead?
I've seen these things before. I'm always trying to be open minded and be "To each their own"... and while that is true, I don't think I could stand to wear those things personally. But, it is nice that something like that is available for those struggling with modesty issues. After all, it may not just be religiously strict people that like those, but it could be people who are VERY self-conscious about their body, are badly scarred, or a number of other things that have nothing to do with religion. Although I think shorts and a t-shirt over a one piece would serve the same purpose.
but of course not! Jesus is going to send them to hell if they show their shoulders. Don't you know that...
I seriously would not even go to the beach if I had to wear one of those...what's the point? lol....I wear less than that anytime. What's even scarier,is that their men folk probably think those outfits are sexy....if that's their swimwear, then imagine what their normal clothes are like. But it's true,to each their own....whatever floats their boat
religious people scare me. why are they so afraid to live the way they want to? oh wait.. yeah.. their god might strike em dead with a lightning bolt. yeah id be scared to wear a normal bathing suit too if i was them
but but but... skin is beautiful. its a shame those women cover up themselves, especially now that its summer. take that crap off yer head and let your hair show. this is america, we have hair and we show it and we dont let stupid men tell us how we should dress. only thats not true... lots of those teen girls now wear those butt flosses and cleavagy tight shirts and tight jeans. all for men.. damn relgion.. and damn men!
