Hi I want to make a just a persnol web page. I know a little html and can figure the rest out as I go. But what is a good place to get a free web page????
try yahoo geocities...was simple and straightforward and free as far as I experienced...I am sure there are loads more out here too which people will tellya!! be sure to post a link when you get it up and running!!!
Try and get one without mandatory adverts places on your page, also it's good to have one where you are able to publish flash files, if your into this stuff.
For a "Beginner", Tripod has an easy user interface, but your site will be plagued by Pop-Ups! http://www.tripod.com and look for FREE sites.
BTW Once you have a web site install the statcounter code from this web site. http://www.statcounter.com/ You will be able to track:- How many people are looking at your site. Their ISP Their Browser and resolution Country of Origin Length of stay Return visits, etc. All with easy to see pie charts and tracking IP info, you can even block an IP if you wanted to.
