shaving down there

i never shave...i go completely natural with the legs, armpits, and crotch. my boyfriend says he loves the shaved look and when i used to shave down there he absolutely loved it. yesterday i shaved it all off.....its been the first time in like 3 years and it just feels so weird, smooth..but i feel like a baby almost. i dont really like it but i'm wondering if i should be doing it for him. he doesnt mind me hairy but he likes it better this way. i guess i did it because i know he likes it better and that makes me feel good. the worst thing is i just hate when it grows back, its all itchy and gross for months...unless you shave it off again. any suggestions to a girl that likes to go all natural?

 

If he doesn't care, and that's how you feel most comfortable; don't shave. Just because he likes it that way, doesn't mean you have to do it that way. Just live how you feel comfortable.

Yeah, I agree... do what's comfortable for you.

I used to shave down there, and I gave up on it because it would get all stubbly within a day, and itch like crazy...and shaving everyday is not my cup of tea.

I'm not really one to spend a lot of time on how I look. I care about how I look, but I refuse to spend hours in the bathroom everyday to make myself look "pretty" like a lot of girls. I just do what needs to be done, and to tell you the truth... I feel more beautiful not caring SO much ,than I used to when I DID spend lots of time putting myself together.

while I would never suggest doing something your really not happy with, dont forget that there can be a lot of pleasure in giving to someone. To me, sharing your body with your partner is giving them the gift of pleasure because you are close, its not just about receiving

if you truly care for your partner, doing something you may not usually do can be a great sign of the depth of your feelings and in my eyes is a strength.

ironically, having had the pleasure of spending the last 5 years with a lady whose taught me that hair of a womans body is natural and sexy, its a little odd to be giving advice suggesting you shave

lol, but basically, if its not that big a deal and you care for this person, take pleasure in giving them pleasure and dont see it as a negative change

I'll bet you look gorgeous unshaved -but if he doesn't like it then maybe you can reach some sort of compromise? if he says he doesn't mind then he should be happy for you to go hairy as it's easier for you.

 

I love the unshaved all over look. I look forward to winter so my wife will grow her arm pits out.

As far as a shaved "area" i love it, LOVE IT full, but there are things about it being shaved that cant be matched. So every once in a while, she shaves it. She loves it shaved too, but time to time, she touchs herself too much when its shaved lol.

It's ultimately up to you of course, but you don't have to shave -everything-. I shave fairly regularly, but I leave a patch on the top. I'm a woman and I dont' want to look prepubescent, but personally I prefer the feel of shaved lips for myself. You could ask him to shave too I mean, you shouldn't ask someone to do something you wouldnt' be willing to try yourself, right?

 

ok, i personally keep my cha-cha shaved... sex is just better, in my opinion i've found that if you shave in the direction of growth and slather it with hemp lotion immediately afterwards, you can avoid irritation. hehe, i guess you could use some other kinda lotion, but hemp is best

I do the whole design a pussy thing. I don't shave completely cuz I feel like I'm ten, lol but I do like to be trimmed and groomed, I usually leave a strip in the middle and shave the rest. it looks awsome and I feel better about not looking like a little girl.

 

i tried shaving cause my boyfriend wasnt into the whole natural thing. it was just akward so i gave that up after a while. but maybe you guys could compromise it seeems like he doesnt absoulutly hate the not shaving thing, so maybe liek greengoddess mentioned you could design it so it isnt as much, and it looks kewl.

 

I like to keep the downstairs clean. Just basicly 'cause my ex boyfriend got me into it. It's a ginormous pain though.

i never shave. but in the summer it just gets too hot so i give her a hair cut...not all the way off just trimmed down.

if you like it better full and your boyfriend doesn't care then i say keep the bush!

 

how bout compromise... dont shave it completely but you dont have to be bushzilla.

get one of those electric razors and just keep it barely past the itchy level ( like 1-2 cm?)

i always shave it but that's just what's comfortable for me - you shouldn't always do it just for him, especially if you dislike it, but i dont see what itd hurt if he enjoys it, doing it once in a while just for him, a little treat
