    not understood things totally and got your own ideas that were wrong?

    ill give you an example of mine and if you can think any, share them.

    when i was in 4th grade, a new friend i made told me about how her step dad used to molest her and her little sister and rape her mom.

    and my dad was an alcoholic that beat my mom and all that time i thought that the word rape was "rake" like raking the leaves and i remember thinking it was very very wrong and evil but i always pictured a rake and one day asked my mom "did dad ever rake you?"
