Footprint the pathway, eco one. Familiarize the measurements, multiply by depth and eulogize the lion leaping over Himalayan tapestries hanging overhead, overcastting hopeless emptiness from overbearing tyranny. Jacketed, metallic fatality ricochets around the room, echoing wail voyage across the Adriatic Sea, past orchards planted on terraced hillsides and wrapped in Sunday morning mist, past sunflower fields extending up as a collective sum. The vibrations close, memorials curled within, embracing a cool blue aura spellbound by the moment. Beyond the deck, the backyard’s in bloom, lavender petals quilt centipede grass, the sun falls behind evergreens, long shadows cast left and right as night looms the moon drinks with me from a white-oak cask, her fingers silver beam penetrate thick canopy and push my shadow to the ground. A front’s coming in whipping branches about with a natural rain stick rattle; and as our shadows dance together, I can only smile.
This is delightfully full... I've revisited it a couple times today. Quite enjoyable and brimming with various flavors. The last three stanzas are a poem on their own, yet, you weave in other tapestries of perception. The subtle snow aspect of the lion blends nicely with the moon imagery. Cheers.
I love this one. It's beautiful. Why is it that lions and moonlight/candles always seem to raise such profound imagery? I've used them in the past also. I definetly love the second to last stanza the best!
