10,000 Lakes Festival

Is anyone in the South-Central Wi area going to this festival with an extra ticket? I ask because i have 2 tickets for the GGG (Grateful Garcia Gathering) which is like a week or 2 after this one, so maybe i could get you into the GGG if you could get me into 10000 Lakes. Just a thought. Alright, later on

We just got some good news! All of you folks going to the 10,000 Lakes Festival on July 22-24th, and all who are planning on going to the Grateful Garcia Gathering July 29th-Aug1st. on the following weekend, can come directly to NCN-North Campground to camp from Monday July 25th all the way though August 1st for only $15 per person. But each person must purchase a ($65) ticket for the 3G's at the camp site on July 28th. You can also purchase the ticket before hand of coarse, just bring it with you!

 

Hope you can read that, sorry I didn't know how to change it from yellow...and we'll be at 10klf, so hope to see some of you there too. It's a great venue, aside from the awesome music, you know they posted the schedules now? lots of good late night shows.

 

which band is it? I think I voted for Smokin Bandits....but there were a lot of good ones, hard to choose. and if RAR1013 is reading, maybe I voted for Groovatron.... really, it was a tough choice to vote and I liked about 4 of the bands a LOT, and as far as I know they were only allowing one vote per email. they never really said. Last year you could vote for 3 I think, made it a lot easier.

 

The bands name is Covert Operation form Michigan...they have amazing talent, make sure you check them out! see ya'll at the festi

 

hey, i'm going this year..it will be my frist time goin to this festival!! what's it like?? are there usually alot of people there?? thanks!!!

 

It's probably 10k people, last year was more like 5k, but that's because the lineup was kind of mixed. this year I would guess 10k people at 10k Lakes. Like the first year was. the first year was awesome, great lineup but I guess they lost money, not unusual because they had huge names playing, and it was a new fest. but it's small enough, and big enough. Who knows, I'm just guessing anyway. but plenty of dancing room. It's a great venue.

If they pull 15k people this year the venue could handle it just fine. the country fest they have there in August I think draws about 40,000, kind of crowded but 10klf probably won't draw that many. good, more dancing room!!! but I'd like to see this fest continue, so 15k would be good for their finances. (sorry to think that way, but it's the way things work, unfortunately).

 

I will be there. I will have a vending booth inside the stage area. Drop by and say hi!! I will be in the Plain Jane Patchwork/Hemp Queen booth. (I am sharing the booth with a friend). My name is Ericka
