The other day I sat down and began to type out an essay on the End of Days. After typing and typing and typing. I realized I had written a five page long essay and only covered about 20% of what I wanted to. I stopped there because I knew if I put something on this thread that was longer than a short novel, no one would read it...you lazy bastards. So, as I was saying I was trying to make a simple and educational essay on the End Times. I began with that fact that every generation has had it's predictions for the end. But, this time it is VERY different. See the propchies could not have been fulfilled before, but now in today's world they can be, and most have. Let me begin are the very begging. Remember Noah?...had a arch. Noah was part of a generation that was destroyed by God. God saw that the world had become filled with sin and evil (kinda like how it is today). He gave Noah warning of the soon to come destruction because Noah walked with God, he was a good man. Noah than told everyone that God was pissed and was about to kill everyone. No one believed him. So then as Noah said a huge (by huge I mean HUGE) flood came. It killed everyone. People don't know what the world was remotely like back then, we lose a lot of history over time. There were also great civilizations back then, they were wiped out by the flood. One of these was Atlantis. Now this flood did indeed happen. Scientist have found a layer of residue in the layers of Earth's crust that is dated back to the time of when the flood was said to happen. This layer of residue is found in everyplace on Earth they have looked. As the Bible said, it was truly a global flood. So that happens and then man rises again. We have the Egypt Empire rise, Moses comes, Roman Empire Rise, Jesus comes. Jesus is than killed for our sins and now we are here today, still waiting for Jesus to return like he said he would. So now how am I so sure that the End Times are coming. Well unlike other crackpot theories and conspiracies there is a HUGE wealth of information backing it. First of all lets look at what Jesus said would be happening before he returned. He said that the weather would be very strange, I don't need to go into that one I think anyone here with any brain can connect that one to today. He said that there would be wars and rumors of wars. Now in our time there are wars everywhere and we hear of rumors of war everyday on our televisions. He said many false prophets will come, we have already seen some (Heavens Gate, Waco, etc) and I am sure we will see more. We then have all the other propchies (which is a lot). First of all many of the propchies that were made could NOT BE FULFILLED in the time period they were made. Such as, a 200 million man army marching from the East into the Middle East. China has claimed that if they called on their reserve army that they would have a total of 200 million troops, wow that's weird considering they are a nation in the East. Russia will send an army from the North into the holy land along with China from the East. If you read the news you have probably heard that China and Russia are good friends these days and are RIGHT NOW practicing invasion strategies, I kid you not, READ THE NEWS!!! So for more propchies that could not be fulfilled before we don't have to look far. The Great Mystery Babylon is said to fall in one hour and that is will burn( This is America). Now from the begging of time to 1945 I don't think any great nation could fall in one hours time. There are no weapons that could bring a nation into TOTAL destruction...until 1945. Then we figured out how to make nukes. So now that propchey can be fulfilled. I will spare you the rest of the propchies cause this is already long enough. But, there is more than enough proof. Many different cultures all have propchies of the same terrible events in the future. Many of the propchies have already come true (jews have their own nation, etc.). Everything is set up just the way is MUST BE set up for the End Times events to happen. I don't want to believe it, I hope it does not happen, but I am no fool and I have studied these things. The End is coming, there is no doubt. Please just take half an hour and start reading about it yourselves. If I am wrong you wasted 30 minutes of your life, oh well. If I am right I might be saving you from an eternity in hell...I think the risk of losing 30 minutes of your life is worth it. GO RIGHT NOW. GO to google, yahoo, books, TV, doucmentaries, whatever and start reading into the End of Days. You will begin to see that it is not crazy talk, and that it makes a lot of sense.
sorry, I just had to add some more I left out. During the time of the end there are going to be two wittness that will tell the world of the evil of the anti-Christ. They will then be killed and left in the street for "EVERYONE ON EARTH" not my words, but those of the Bible, to see. In the time that this propchey was made there was no way in hell everyone could see them, but today we got TV and all that good stuff. It is also said that before the End people will suddenly get huge wealths of information. this knowldge people get comes from computers. It is said that people will go to and fro and that travel will be fast and easy. This is now true thanks to airplanes, trains, and cars. Second, it is said that we will unseal a hidden book right before the End of Days. This sealed book is the Bible Code and can now be seen today because of computers, the bible code is not joke either. It may sound like some crazy stuff but the math is there to back it up, and for those who claim they have done the code thing with other books....they have not. In Mody Dick they found one code about Martin Luther King Jr. and it was in a huge matrix...this code was a coincidence. Other than that they can't make any other logical codes. PLease listen to me, everything is the EXACT way it has to be for the events that are said to happen to happen!
I am not sure how many threads you have done on the 'End of days' but i think you seem a bit mad about all this.. Can't you just see it in its historical context, realise the end of the world is not comeing anytime soon. Generation after generation make comparisons to there time and place and think they are going to be the generation or at least 'in the not to distant future' all this is going to happen.. well it aint my friend. I read once around here about Noah and his ark .. it went on for pages and pages and pages.. 'back in the day' people thought it was just that noah built a boat and put two animals in it (two by two by two etc).. simple. Now because we know that is completly impossible. Vast articulate complex rationales (that you have somewhat attempted to do) have tried to explain away the nonesensical notion (along with the other pointers). Generation after generation.. Heavens (pardon the pun) forbid the kinda logic future generations are going to have to listen to. You can believe what you want (and you will) but why devote (pardon the second pun) so much time to this.. enjoy life (i don't doubt you do) help other people and be generaly be decent.. heck i did not need any bible to tell me all that. In mesopotamia they found that a flood wiped out all the people of the area, but they have by no means found it throughout the world. My personal oppinion was that it was the known world that was flooded, not america or east asia, just where most of civilization was. The have found many ruins at the bottom of the mediteranien and there was a great civilization there which well could have been Atlantis. My oppinon is that the Ice Age was still occuring during this age and the gap between Portugal and Morroco was above water causing the Medditeranien and the Black Sea to be dry. God got POed and ended the Ice Age and caused the Medditeranein to flood due to the raise in sea level. almost everyone was killed except Noah and his family. Propbably some other people survived like people who inhabbited the mountains, which would now be the Greek Isles, or the rainforests to the south, which would soon after the Ice Age end turn into desert and form the Sahara. (cause the Sahara was desert as soon as the Ice Age ended). It seems rather unlikly that God killed every1 since the Native Americans and u cant make over 1 million people in 10 generations. China and Russia r getting an uneasy alliance and I am almost positive WWIII will happen in my generation (generation X). I will make another forum for that.
You know without any idea of religion, there probably would even be a world situation as there is at the moment
True in a lot of ways..aids would be less of a problem..but on other issues it makes no diffrence imho. War is about Freedom/power/control of people and land and resources with religeon used as a scapegoat. No religeon ? another excuse would be used.
In school we learned about ancient Greek and Roman history, and it seems that the ruins found underwater that are thought to be Atlantis were "sunk" as a result of a huge volcanic eruption, during the time of Egypt's empire. There's too much conflicting information for me to believe that the past can be correctly interpreted to mean something about the future.
What would people rather listen to .. . erm we have no idea why a part of the earth ended up under the water.. these things are not in any ones control and hey probaly from natural circumstances ... Yawn. A mysterious highly inteligent and progresive civilisation sudenly was lost to the mysteries of the seas ..these people had connections to gods (aliens) .. oh how exciting.
