I woke up one day *or so i thought* and i could not move... it was like I was sinking into my pillow and my head was spinning... I felt a force pulling something out of me... and i felt really weighed down and tired but i was fighting not to let it go... Was i having an out of body experience... or sleep paralysis? Has anyone had an obe?

Yeah, that's classic sleep paralysis. I used to get it a lot in various ways. Hasn't happened for a while, though. Apparently they did this thing and they stimulated the temporal lobes (I may be remembering wrong) of conscious people, and they all had this incredibly terrifying experience that often included a spirit/alien presence and sometimes a hand from nowhere touching the leg or genitals. Sometimes people wake up with some hideous demon or hag pressing down on them, and they have to fight with everything they've got to shake them off.

This could be related to experiences of alien abduction. I think it's just a confusion between worlds - between body and mind or something.

been there, i used to get sleep paralysis nightly....its a very strange and interesting phenomenon.

you know your having an obe when you get these intence vibrations pulsating through your insides, if you can remain relaxed then the astral self will seperate to let your explore

do you get sleep paralysis alot? because the sleep paralysis state can be a good spring board into obe's if you can stay calm and focused. just close your eyes and tell yourself your going to astral project and often thats all it takes.

yeah, last time i had it i just went with it and it was incredible! I don't like the 'evil' sleep paralysis. takes alot of energy to fight. Haven't had that kind in a while though

Are you serious? I sometimes get those pulsating vibrations but I never experienced an obe... i just thought they were just normal.

when i get it, which is a lot, going to sleep and waking up,i feel like im being sat on, i cant breathe, if i fight it it gets worse so i have to relax totally wait a few seconds, them usually i can move, but sometimes it takes several goes and that is terrifying, (shiver) hate it.
