i was wondering if anyone else has one or is interested in one/ i just started mine a few nights ago cause i heard it helps memory and the awareness of the subconsious mind very, very much. it was soo fustrating for me to have great, inspirational dreams and not be able to remember them when i wake up cause theyd usually be dreams with meanings. in mine, i only have 3 entries (missing about 5 dreams) and i dont even have to read over what i wrote cause i remember the dreams all the time now; verses just a few hours or a day. so maybe the dreams do stick when you write it down, i guess the connection is the key...
By the time I'm awake enough to write, I've usually forgotten to much of my dreams to make it worth doing
I use to only remeber having dreams like once a week but latly I've been remebering dreams everynight now and theve all been about different girls I no.
I keep one. They really help with attempting lucid dreaming, and improve dream recall drastically, plus they're fun to read dreams you had 2 years ago. Many people believe they don't dream, but infact we do dream every single night, it's only that we do not remember them upon waking up. The more dreams you write down the better your recall will get. Instead of remembering 3 a week, you'll remember 10, for example.
Yeah, i've started keeping a dream diary. Does anybody have any good tips for remembering dreams? I heard that there were some ways to make it easier, like getting back into the position you were sleeping in and stuff..? Love, Sunshine Lily xxx
im not even sure, but all i know is that i took the 1st step in doing the dream journal. ive been pretty upset lately, and i think that conflicts with remembering dreams and staying in touch with my psycic side (im a pisces btw). anyone else find this to be true?
Yeah, I definately think you're right. I think when people are upset - they sometimes allow their body, mind and spirit to 'shut down' a bit? I may be wrong, but when i am upset i know that i stop doing my Reiki altogether, stop doing my yoga, stop trying to be happy really... And everything slips, including the ability to remember dreams! Do you know what i mean? Love, Sunny xxx
Soon im gonna start a dream journal to help me with lucid dreaming as I heard they are realy helpfull in not only remembering them but also having more control in them.
I have one... It's in a file hidden in the windows file system on my other computer, cause if my parents found it, there would be a lot of questions. I've had it since January.
I have always wanted to start one but always forget... maybe I will go write down last nights dream now...
My mom had me start a dream journal when i was younger because she thought my dreams revealed alot about what was going on internally. I enjoy keeping the journal. it is fun to go back and read them every now and then.
i have one. i have several entries and i also draw pictures to help be remember that i stick in there also. It is fun to look through it later, like a month or so.
i think dream journals are a great idea.. i used to keep one i would wake up in the middle of the night and write down a few sentances so that i'd remember it all in the morning... now, i do not need to write them down..i can just recall them... lucid dreaming is an amazing tool and all should learn how to do it..
I just THOUGHT about starting a dream journal and remembering my dreams, and sure enough, I've been remembering at least one dream almost every morning I wake up. Soon I'm gonna start an actual journal and maybe in a little while I'll be able to go Lucid.
Charging water by moonlight and drinking half before you retire is great for remembering dreams. Drink the other half as you awake before writing in your dream journal. Lucid is becoming conscious that you are dreaming, within your dreams. Steven Laberge has writen some great material on lucid dreaming. The movie 'Waking Life' has a segment on lucid dreaming. It is such a fun movie. The segment mentions trying to turn a light off and trying to read a passage without the words jumping all over the place, among other nuances. I'm currently reading a book called 'Catching the thread' that is about dreams, it has a luna moth on the cover. Sweet dreams.
"the waking life" is like the best dreamers movie...it explains lucid dreming so well and has a ton of other interesting mind stimulating conversation.... i would recommend it
OH i love that movie!!! It has so much meaning, You have to watch it several times *or i did* to get the full effect
