A favorite of mine that your children will absolutly love, Morris and Boris Three Stories by Bernard Wiseman. I think its out of print today, but your local library should have it. Its a story of Boris the Bear and Morris the Moose. Its hilarious. I love reading it even today. Still makes me giggle. Another great book: Jamberry by Bruce Degen. And yet another, this one is more interesting: Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs by Judi Barrett. I work at a childrens educational toy store...I cant help but read all the great books I had when I was little! Thought Id share some with you. Peace, Jessica
Ohhh... The Hungry Catapillar... I loved that one. And The Giving Tree.. oh! And that Monster one... um... well, it has monsters in it...
Ooooh..... some of my faves are: Goodnight Moon/The Runaway Bunny.... both by the same author The Giving Tree The Lorax All of Maurice Sendak's Little Bear series Gus the Ghost series All of the Serendipity Books... check em' out if you don't know what they are... they're nice lil stories w/ good morals and beautiful illustrations... I think they're written by Stephen Cosgrove and Robin James
2 great NEW books for kids are - 1) The Spider and the fly - a tale about peoples character, pretty cool book, great pics, black and white, defintley on the more uncoventional side of things -still a great book for u to read to ur kids - 2) Giraffes cant dance - by far my absolute favorite child book, beatuiful illustrations, great point to the book - its a bout a clumsy giraffe named gerald who cant dance to traditional noise - but a cricket helps him understand that sometimes when ur different all u need is different song. - Perfect for the yung blooded aspiring hippies - peace luv & pot
