ok what exactly does this mean? I've heard this being said a lot and many times being said when talking about drugs... so can some one get technical and explain?

it means a whole lot of anything can negatively effect you. fruit is good for you. a shitload of fruit is not.

marijuana used in moderation shows little negative long term effects. smoking marijuana continuoulsy poses health problems, and according to some people, mental problems.

    hope that answered your question.

don't smoke every day, or 3 times a day, and don't live your life around smoking, if you hapen to have time to smoke, then go ahead, but you shouldn't have to make time.

These time I smoke like 2-3 time a week but usually when I'm not living with my parents (when I'm at the campus) I'm smoking like 2-3 time a day all the years and I'm not facing any problems nor social nor mental....

I think "moderation" can't be an establish dogma but must be "an individual consideration of one's limits and responsability".....

What's so hard to understand? Do everything in moderation: not too much, not too little. Example, a glass of wine a day is good for you, a bottle of wine a day is not. A little bit of laziness is ok, a lot of laziness? ...not so much.

An example of this is what I do, I only have about a dime a week (recently none) and only smoke on the weekends. Because I smoke so little that cannabis has had no effect on my memory, schoolwork, life etc. This is also with other drugs, for instance, it is medically proven that a glass of wine now and again is good for you, while getting plastered every day is not. A tab of acid once in a while can be a wonderful, life changing, powerful experience while a tab of acid everyday can lead to schizophrenia.

a tab of acid everyday would actually have the opposite effect- it wouldn't work after a while. It's loses it's 'magic'

anyway, I think this is funny. I say "everything in moderation" all the time.

a good quote a once heard is "eat when you're hungry, sleep when you're tired, everything else in moderation"

too much of anything is a bad thing.

Blind Melon is one of my favorite bands.

but I think like moderation is like if you eat to much ur gonna get obese, if you smoke way to much weed u will get burn out, if you drink way to much water your guts will explode.

But like what headymoe said, that is a good way to put it

no, taking acid every day -will- affect you. its not an issue of maybe. if it affects you in the first place that is.

so what if it loses its magic? thats either entirely subjective, or a sign that it is indeed affecting your brain.

read into the tests done on acid junkies. they all turn into rather oddballs.

thats different to hippies who took it lots but over their whole lives
