Vintage 1971...McCalls pattern and it was .85 (original)! if I could scan the pattern I would but I found the same pattern and another version on eBay now...if anyones interested.
Simplicity and McCalls CURRENTLY have patterns for the wrap pants in their current style lines...I have made many a pair of them, and they sell faster than I can make them on my website
holy cow! If you're still takin the time to share, can you send my way please? trippythreads@gmail.com. Thank you
I might as well add my name, just curious how the explain the pattern via email kristina_ballerina@yahoo.com
i love those pants. they are so comfy - but i've always heard of them being called tie pants... i just made a pair for myself about 2 weeks ago..my friend has a bunch of em, and we just used those for patterns
They are officially called "Thai wrap pants" and are a wardrobe staple in Thailand, just like the sarong is in China and Hawaii type of thing.
Me toooo! oceantribes@hotmail.com Next we should all make a pair and post pics to see how different (or alike!) they turn out.
