are there any filmmakers here?

I was wondering if theres anyone who makes films on these forums? I'll be making my first film starting july.

I make films, but they are far from anything high tech. Independant art films. Best of luck to you though!

 

I aspire to be an independent filmmaker...but as I am only 16 the stuff I make at the moment is sort of cheesy...and I only have tech (the class the allows me to use their editing suits) for like 5 months a year.

Thanks both of you. Don't worry, if you have a strong passion for the art, youll be a filmmaker. anyone can be, as a matter of fact, if you make films which you alreayd do, you already are a filmmaker.

 

i occasionally videotape my orblamp, then put random clip shows together when i feel like it, but not all that often.

I'm a film maker. Hows your pre-production coming along?

 

Pretty good, thanks for asking. Ive just been buying some equipment, getting a crew together as well as people to audition. The special effects should be here in the next fewdays and the musics been dont for the film too.

 

im a film maker...i make short funny films...i also write scripts for full legnth films...never made one of em yet...but maybe this summer

I took Film I and II in college (as well as writing scrips classes and editing and casting..)
I loveeeee making films. It's much more complicated than Video Production but it's soooo much fun too!

Im into film making, even tho i havent created anything yet LOL, But when i finish high school i wana either become a producer, director, or make music videos. Its guna be fun!
