Funky Purple Patchwork Skirt!!

Hey yall I am back in action LOL After 4 days of an extremely grumpy mood!!!!!!!!!!!!

i went to joannes and the tie dye black and white cord was only like $2 a yard or something

 

How do you find fabric that cheap at Joannes? Every time I go there, everything seems to be super expensive.

 

my lil "cousins cousin" is here. yeah.. shes my cousins cousin, not my cousin technically but i like to think of her that way.. anyways.. enuff bout that..

She was sitting here and i opened this thread and she absolutely loves that skirt. I told her that i get all my inspiration from you. Your amazing.

Were trying to make a purse right now. Ill take pics of it(and her cuz shes a lil cutie) when were done. Heck we might even make a skirt for her!

is it drawstring in the front and elastic in the back? how did you do that? did you just attach the elastic to two pieces of drawstring?

 

just drawstring all over and i bunched it in the back. but it does work to put elastic in the middle of the drawstring, helps keep skirts up!!

that skirt looks great mama!! you used my most favorite color... purple, so of course it gorgeous.

 

that's pretty.. purple is such a groovy color.
