Hello everybody! I am new to this forum and would like to introduce myself. I am 21, from Europe, female, and am interested in 50s, 60s and 70s. I love The Doors, The Beatles, Janis Joplin, Velvet Underground, and any psychedelic rock you can think of. I am also interested in Woodstock, hippies, beatniks, zen budhism, and god knows what else. Anyway, I'm out for now. Love+peace everybody!
I'm David, in netherlands, but from U.S. Also fan of beat generations writers. Hope to see you around. Peace and hippy day.
Just read The Beat Hotel; good book about Kerouac, Ginsberg, and Burrows while in Europe and Africa. I discovered it here in netherlands. A pleasant surprise and good reading. It filled in gaps from other works/history.
I'll look it up, thanx. Author? So far I've only read Charters' books on the Beats and some Kerouac's biographies (well, apart from Beat literature obviously)
