Do any of you ever roll in the daytime? I was supposed to get a 10 pack tonight and won't be getting them til tomorrow instead and me and my girlfriend were going to do them tonight. Seeing as that isn't possible we were going to do them monday afternoon. Is this a smart thing to do? like will i just burn out afterwards and not be able to function the rest of the day normally? Any info is appreciated.
Depends. You might just want to spend the rest of the day just sleeping, relaxing, recovering. I know I do. But some people don't crash at all, and can probably function normally. But honestly I reccomend you choose a day that you have all to yourself, with no responabilities. You'll have more fun knowing you have no obligations and you can reflect on your experience.
Rolling during the daytime is a waste...unlike with heavier psychedelics like LSD or mescaline, the effects of Ecstasy are most appreciated in a dark environment. I'd recommend waiting until atleast the next weekend to experiment with it; this will also give you time to prepare your setting (burn some techno CD's, borrow some cool lighting, etc.) which will maximize your experience. The day after Ecstasy isn't very difficult, in fact, you'll feel quite comfortable if you'll be sitting around. I wouldn't plan on doing any heavy labor the next day, though...
I remember the last time I rolled in the daytime I turned off all the lights and pulled down the shades, the light bothered me. I wonder if there is a reason for that...
Whenever you're in an environment where bright lighting is present, your brain lowers the amount of serotonin produced (or pushed)...so, in theory, being in darkness will literally modify your brain chemistry to be more effective for psychedelics...the lights, however, are just there to "look pretty."
I know the dark is a much better environment for things like this. But, the reason I ask is because she's my best friend and is leaving for a month this coming sunday and we won't have a time during the night when we could roll together before she leaves. So, in that case, do you think rolling in the daytime could work? because I don't want to be crashing then have to deal with my mom.
It can work, but I'd recommend covering up ALL of the windows with thick blankets to block out as much light as possible. I actually did this at a friend's apartment at night to keep our lighting from showing outside, which kept drawing random druggies off the street like a bug-zapper.
Seeing as I am a first time user, what are the chances of a bad crash at the end of the trip? Because I'd be coming down around the time my mom would be getting home from work.
You won't be sleeping or anything...just crash out in front of the TV or something, they probably won't notice so long as you don't make a mess.

Probably not...nature is best suited for psychedelics like LSD or fungus; MDxx are generally most enjoyed indoors... ...unless, of course, you plan on in engaging in some sexual activities...that may be interesting.
i rolled during the day for the first time last week, and had a great time. It was a beautiful day, and we took a walk to the art museum. We all wore sunglasses because of our dilated pupils even though it was a cloudy day, and a guy we passed on a bench said we looked like a rock band. The blue of the sky against the white clouds looked awesome, as did the philly skyline. I noticed things about the skyscrapers that I never did before even though I see them everyday. Now they're the first things I notice. I definetely want to roll at night next time I do it, but it was a nice change.
I have rolled, tripped, blah blah blah during the day and night. I have never felt less high during the day than night. Also, if you like the woods, go roll in the woods. No setting is reserved for special drugs. That's absurd. I love to roll and camp out.
I get way higher during the day. The first blunt of the day can only get me super high if I am driving down the open highway on a sunny day. This has something to do with the biological effect of the sun on us... the sun actually gets you high in a certain way. I forget all the details.
