i like to not shower for weeks does anyone else like to do this i also like to not wear any deodarant becasue it smells bad. what is your opinon on this.
I saw this in the Love & Sex forum so I assumed it was about showering with a member of the opposite sex, my favorite foreplay. What a disappointment.
wow, I thought I was the only one. I haven't showered in about 3 weeks. Plus, I have dreadlocks in progress, so that's my lame-ass excuse (kinda). I only shower when I notice some stench eminating from myself, or when people really start complaining.
I like not showering for a few days once in a while. I like having dirty feet. I can only go about 3 days though, then I get a bit "ripe". I didn't shower today! And I'm wearing the same clothes that I wore yesterday and the day before! YAY! Scummies unite!
i usually shower 2-3 times a day. even if I go camping not mor than a day a too, unless its in the winter and its -20 outside. but I'll still wash to keep to keep the bo down.
I couldn't imagine going weeks without showering, that's pretty disgusting. At least have some respect for the people around you who have to smell your stench. The only time I will ever go without showering is if I am camping out, then I might go a couple days without. Other than that, showering is an everyday thing with me.
I went two wks w/out showering about 2 yrs ago w my boyfriend - we fucked and slept and fucked and etc...and it was arousing to smell our body- but then it got old..We looked like dirty hippies going in and out of the grocery store those 2 wks- and getting looks and even smiles...but I was surprised we did not smell too bad- we mostly smelled like sex.., we were not even too musty.But -I do not think I will do that again...That was then -this is now
It's kind of liberating, but I have to be in the right mood to do it. Sometimes, I can go two or three or four days without one, and not care at all. And then, other times I'll have to take two in one day because I feel disgusting. I love how everyone was so dirty and beautiful at Bonnaroo. I wish it could be like that all the time.
Come on personal hygeine is a good thing! Not everyone has to be a clean freak but It's disrespectful of yourself and others to neglect yourself that way. The bad smell when you don't bathe is decaying bacteria. Oh, man I'm all grossed out now.
Hmm. I couldn't do that, I don't think. I love being clean, so I always bathe and wear deodorant and all of that.
I usually bathe every day...sometimes it's hard with a baby, though... I always kind of liked the smell of my guy after a hard day at work....there are, like, two kinds of B.O.....the disgusting redneck stench that you can't even conceive of unless you've had to deal with it, and that kind of cologne-y sort of smell...I can't explain it...anyway...I always liked it, even though I didn't mean to.
Yeah, I usually take 1-2 showers a day now..I love coming out of the shower and smelling of shower gel w/ my legs shaved -etc.. we tried that 2 wks w/out shower and it was a one time deal- I have to have a shower esp- in the summer even if I have been in house all day..It's just refreshing-
may i mention that me and mieshka are different people? anywho, the longest i've gone is about 5 days. strangely, on the 5th day i skipped the deoderant, and people were hugging me and telling me how great i smelled...
the most i've gone is 3 weeks. that was only semi-by choice. i was kind of homeless and showering was kind of inconvenient. so i just...didn't hehe. i had brand new dreads at the time too. yes. that's my excuse...*shifty eyes*
I often will go a couple of days without showering - but unless I'm really staying home all day by myself I will quick wash my hair in the sink (I have short hair, and am into water conservation). People are surprised to learn that I haven't used deodorant in at least a dozen years, and I don't stink. Believe me, my wife would tell me! Now when I've been out in the woods for several days (backpacking, for instance), after about the second day without showering I totally forget about being dirty as long as everyone else is in the same boat.
