somehow I just know which relationships are going to last... creepy.

It's just so odd.

My friends have boyfriends/girlfriends, get married etc and somehow I know not only whether or not they're going to stay together, but I get some kind of vibe as to how long the relationship will last.

It has nothing to do with whether or not I like the person they're with, because 99.9% of the time they're with great people, but somehow I just know.

Most recent: a very good friend of mine met and married this great guy, and I was invited to their wedding. For some weird reason I just got this very weird vibe that their marriage wasn't going to last past 5 years. Just recently (about 6 months ago) they filed for divorce a week after their 5th anniversary.

Don't know why, I just know.

I also tend to know if relationships are gonna last, or if someone is being screwed in the relationship and if the people in the relationship are happy. That's why I am usually uncomfortable around married people, so many marriages are so screwed up and a lot of them you can't really see it but I can feel it, bad vibes.

 

perhaps a bad marriage is much better for the way than two independent people all alone living bad lives....

that's all fine and well, but I'm not as egocentric as you think - I'm just making an observation of your interest level. As I said, you did post a thread about us, and in this very thread lamented about you didn't think we'd last. Hence you've thought about it. That's all I'm basically saying. Why do you even care?
