let's MAKE some reliable information

Tomorow, 4 of us are going to WV in one van. Two of us will be Soaring Eagle and myself. I think that it might be inconvenient for us to find an internet connection. So the surest way for us to get information onto this board is for us to call someone who's still at home once we've done some investigating, and have them post it onto the site. Good idea? PM your phone number by tomorow. We should be gone well before noon.

 

I'm can also update on Saturday. I'm taking my stuff in, since I have to work on Sunday, and leaving it with a friend since I'll be going by myself and someone is going to help me on saturday, just to find where it is and everything so I won't get totally lost all alone !! hehe but yep, I'll post back on saturday evening before I leave on sunday for good.

I also am going to the gathering, (Hiking in) for the weekend, I will be back home next week for work. I will update on monday. Things sound pretty good there, from what I have heard. Soaring Eagle, I will look for you there, if you need to get word out. Also I would like to meet you. I only live about an hour or so from the site.

Yes, I'll be there for quite a while after sunday.. there is a possibility i may miss the 4th cause I will be going to indiana, but that sort of looks like it's not going to be happening.. so more likely I can be there for ... a while.. I don't need to go back to work until the 15th.

 

I just found out today that I am able to go I am going with my longtime friend hairybuckeye and his wife. Neither of us have ever been to a gathering and cant wait to see what its like first hand. We won't be able to get there until the second' sometime in the afternoon/evening. Since we won't be there on the first for any hipforum type of get together, maybe we'll run ito some of ya'll in passing and share our good vibes that way. c-ya there!!

 

i will definastely be in main circle from the momment i wake up on the 4th, so if we miss eachother on the 1st ya can find me there

We'll be here until the morning of the 29th, and would be glad to post info until that time. You'd need to call here in mornings between 9:00 and 11:00 to get anyone, or in evenings about 6:00 or so. We're coming with someone in a wheelchair, and have other handicapped friends arriving, so need info on somewhat easy access camping in particular... Phone 304-655-8818

bu i've always just shown up, asked around at main gate which way is best to get in & thrn went for it (every time however i get sent down one of the rougher trails but if you ask enough people ya can usualy find the best way in)

Plans off, probably. The van broke down before we even got out of New Jersey. The transmission kept on slipping down to 2nd whenever we started going into 4th. We limped back home, and we're seeing about repairs. We think that it might be the gasket papers. But they don't sell those anymore, so we have to cut new ones out of generic paper and hope it works. We'll be taking a test drive tonight after the engine cools and then we'll try again in the morning.

Looks like I might be hitch hiking to this one.

 

Whoever does get there first, try to get some reliable information up here.

i'd say just try to find out as much as you can about the site..also see if you can find out anything sabout this alternate site too..& ask people i guess where they want to be for the 4th..lol
