This will probably annoy some people(but no offense was intended). Is anyone annoyed by the media's attempts to OVERequalize the genders? Any fictional tv show that has a man vs. woman type competition almost always has the woman triumph. Same with different races. Black cop has to talk some sense into stupid white cop.... etc. etc.
I have seen a lot of stuff over the years,and the one thing that stands out is to get attention the media runs EVERYBODY down. Right now they seem to be on a kick of having almost every male on regular TV an idiot. I can remeber back to when they portrayed most women as idiots,and that goes for different ethnic groups and the like.People seem to enjoy watching stupidity,that's probably why Bush got elected too.

I don't know if I see this as true. Actually I've seen shows where men are doing a lot more of the grunge work and women are getting those glass ceiling positions that were formerly part of the good ol' boy network. Personally, I don't think I could stomach being in a room with a good ol' boy for more than 5 minutes.
Yes i know what you mean, one person where I worked had a mouse pad that said "boys are stupid, throw rocks at them" and the drawing on it was one girl (i think) throwing rocks at a little boy. I found that offensive, but let it pass , i was only part-time... but then again my friend you are right, girl punches guy, its self defense, guy punches a girl, he is a criminal.
