If you use Burts Bees facial products (masks and cleansers, etc) how do you like them and which one do you use? And why do you like them as opposed to other supermarket brands? I am asking because I am going to the health food store this week and I am thinking about getting some burts bees stuff but I also dont want to spend the money on something new if it isnt worth it. So give me your opinion on this brand please
i use burts bees moisturizing night creme...because i have dry skin on my face is smells great ...it makes ur skin smoothand soft ... its great it dosent leave much residue and it dosent make ur face greasy
I've only used Burts Bees chapstick. I haven't bought any in a really long time. It's really great, though. I love the smell and the way it feels and works. I would highly recommend trying it out. Speaking of, I'm gonna add it to my own shopping list. Peace!
I bought the foot care kit and I love it! I never wear shoes, so my feets can get pretty beat up and worn out, and it feels so nice.....it even came with some cotton socks with these cute little bees on them...
i love it how on the bottles they tell you everything that is in it (and even tell you what all those fancy words mean ex. stearic acid = vegitable fat) as well as how "natural" everything is... and its also really good stuff....its definitly worth the extra few dollers, even to starving college students...
The only thing I have tried is the raspberry lip balm....it came in a cute little glass pot with a metal lid, and now that the lip balm is gone, I use it to hold nose studs (they used to always get lost, but now theyre in one place). The balm was AWESOME by the way...
I ::heart:: Burt's Bees! The herbal blemish stick with tea tree oil is awesome for those greasy pimples & I just love that its all natural. xoxo cortnee
I have tried the tomato cleansing soap, the tomato toner and the beeswax moisturizer. I have combination dry/oily skin and that mix of products is working great for me. I just got the deodorant, insect repellent and a blemish stick the other day. I cannot live without the lemon cuticle creme... (I use it for lips too!) I've liked anything I've tried from them. And yes, I am a starving college student also. Don't mind paying slightly higher prices if the product works and you don't end up throwing it out.
Well, Burt's Bees is one of my favorite products...can't do much better in the skin care dept. I went to a Burt's Bees seminar once, and one of the things they said is that you should be able to eat the products that you put on your face...that is how pure they should be...and she proceeded to have us try a little tiny bit of the orange facial cleanser (she joked that she liked to put it on vanilla ice cream...I wouldn't do that, and I don't think that she really did, but it didn't taste too bad), and the skin exfolient (can't remember the exact name, but I have used it on my face...wonderful!! It comes in a glass jar) I use the deodorant, and it works well (didn't used to several yrs. ago...my body chemistry must have changed), the lip balm, the exfolient, and the carrot facial day cream. I love the stuff!! The shampoo bars are good too. The lettuce toner, and facial soap are favorites of mine also.
I use the orange essence face wash. And the citrus scrub. I also like the carrot day creme. For my daughter, I use the buttermilk shampoo bar, and buttermilk lotion...it's called baby bees! Oh, lip balm...and I use the cuticle cream to shape my curls. I got a sample pack for xmas, so I've tried just about everything...those are the just things that I buy religiously.
thanks for the replies! also, do they test on animals? I went to the website but it didnt say anything about not testing on animals....I am assuming they dont, but just want to be sure. thanks
