He was just about OK in Mission Impossible. I like Far and Away but it would have been better if they had some actual Irish actors playing the lead roles. Eyes wide shut was rubbish. Didn't think much of his performance in Minority Report.

Lifting up to a position of royalty?..Um I don't think so. Actors/Musicians/Sportsmen are all entertainers, we see them every day on billboards, on t.v. so obviously this person/people become known, internationally...so when one see's them in real life eg. on a red carpet at a premiere of a movie or at a concert, your interested too see what they look like in real or something, or excited to see them perform live...your crap about lifting to royalty sounds so lame.

As for some guy spraying another guy, in this incident it was at a premiere of a movie and Tom Cruise questioned the sprayer while he tried to run away, so yeah in this case it is an incident that will appear in the media and I'm sure, for some weird reason as you might be thinking, alot of people with have their own views on it and will just discuss it.
Some people think he over-reacted, some people would say I would've done the same as him...it's just a discussion dude, take a hike with your royalty crap..lol..

I like Tom, so i thought he was spot on. Turning the situation back on the perpetrators ('oh look how funny and clever we are' comedians). Yeah it was funny, it truely was (after the fact). Tom did not overeact he just confronted the person, imho a good thing (articulated better in others prev' posts). A couple of days to think about it (these chaps had) and it aint so funny anymore. Added to that Sharon osbourne is giving Tom some legal documentation (it happened to her as well-part of a new TV show or something).

It seems that you don't like MR Cruise Sax_Machine ?, fair enough. Though i don't think you should just brush it off as a 'joke'.. it aint in many ways.
