last summer we went camping on the beach. i don't think my flipflops made it out of the van.

nice soft mossy sandy ground to walk on in most places.

i like to go barefoot in the redwoods to playing in the river. stones and pebbles inbetween my toes:D

I camp barefoot. It's such an earthy feeling. I love it!

My partner and I spent a lot of time barefoot at the last place we camped, despite the fact that it had been heavily logged and the ground was a mess...but it slowed us down and really tuned us in to the feel of the earth beneath our feet, grounded us, and made us more aware of other things around us as well.

Well I'd have thought it'd be only natural. If the ground's good enough for sleeping then you're hardly going to need shoes to walk on it.

I always camp barefoot, then again the only place I where shoes is at work, or the grocery store. Just have to be careful if your in a place with cacti. I went camping in Nebraskas sandhills a few weeks ago, just happened to look down and see a cactus no more than five inches from my foot. I was glad I didn't step on it......

i only wear shoes when i need to.... like at the store, or to keep my toesies warm when it snows. i love camping barefoot.. i mean you have to be a little more aware of what your stepping on but thats part of the glory, being more in touch with the elements.... and i walk bare foot on concrete too aztech... people do look at me funny :)

my feet are wide because my mom would always let us run around barefoot. they are pretty tough too. i can usually walk on driveway rocks without cares. i've stepped on many many bees tho and each time they still hurt. i guess i should really watch where i run free. but when you are in the middle of a field with a buncha whilflowers you tend to forget that there is some pain in the fields that can be avoided. oh well, my grampa stings himself with bees as sort of an acupuncture and your feet are connected to the rest of your body so it should be alright.... right?
    peace and love
