He died March 30th. He was 37. If you don't know who he was, he was the best stand up comedian of my time, and arguably of all time. He was an outward drug user, and it is being debated that he died of a heroin overdose which caused heart failure. He did improv in Florida in his early career, and then moved onto the Late Show with Letterman, Howard Stern, and even made an appearance in Almost Famous and That 70's Show. His humor wasn't forced, but spacey, random, and very natural. Check out his website for more info I really suggest downloading Strategic Grill Locations and Mitch All Together, his two stand up cd's. Just Hilarious. RIP. If you have
How odd. My friend suggested that I download some of his stuff a couple of weeks ago. I hadn't heard of him before that. I did, and although I wasn't too fond of his particular style of comedy, it's sad to hear that he died.
fucking sucks eh? but hey, listen go on wikipedia.com and search mitch hedberg and they've got soo many of his best quotes!
"Alcoholism is a disease, but it's the only one you can get yelled at for having. Goddamn it Otto, you are an alcoholic. Goddamn it Otto, you have Lupis... one of those two doesn't sound right." -Brilliant /Was a great comedian
You know they call corn on the cob, corn on the cob, but that's how it comes out of the ground, man. They should call that corn, they should call every other version corn off the cob. It's not like if you cut off my arm you would call it Mitch. Then reattach it and call me Mitch-all-together...
"i want to be a rebelllious Mcdonalds owner. Hamburgers, Nope... We've got spagetti!" He was my favorite comedian, and he will be sorely missed.
I remember the first time i Saw Mitch, on Comedy Central on his 1 hour special. Ever since then I have been in love with his stand up comedy. It is so different than anything else and always makes me laugh so hard (Especially after hittin up the ganj ) and after hearing he passed away, it's really sad, I guess only the good do die young. Peace and Love, Dan
RIP funniest man alive and maybe instead of downloading his CD's off the internet maybe try to support his family and buy them...thats your choice though
NO DUDE, that's not true. I mean, his health had suffered from his drug usage for sure, but he died of heart failure. He didn't use any obscene amount (or any) drugs that night. His closest friend even said so...
I liked mitch alot, and lately had enjoyed his voice work on the CN's Home Movies. I saw him once stop his act and comment to someone in the first row who was really enjoying Mitch's routine, saying "I see you are no stranger to the bong either". Mitch, we miss ya!
