the best thing to do is try to get familiar with your surroundings or use maps. quick question: how do you not know where anything is? who is teaching you how to drive?

Signs and doing things long enough generally work, but if you do get lost, just ask for directions, though they could be wrong... c'est la vie.

I just got my license. I personally find driving to be pretty fun. And as far as navigating goes, you always have mapquest.
