The Bible does not always use name's in it's prophecies, but it rather uses discriptions. Thats why you will not find the name of Jesus Christ in the Old Testament, yet over 300 of it's prophecies Jesus fulfilled.
There is symbolism in scripture, yet when scripture can be understood from the literal perspective, that is the path to travel. America is identified by description, where as Russia is identified by the scriptures speaking of the ancient tribes that setteled in the area of Russia, also the Bible speaks of Israels enemy being to the utter most north of Israel. Russia is spoken of as Gog and May Gog. The 1000 years of peace happens after the Great Tribulation.

 

1.The beast of Revelation (13:2) represents the countries that will be involved in the End Times. A bear (Russia) a leopard (Germany) and a Lion (Great Britain).

2. The dragon who wanted to devour the child speaks of Satan and Christ.

3. The one thousand years of peace will take place after the return of Jesus Christ.

 

Why do you think those animals represent the countries you mentioned?
Why not:bear: Peru, leopard: China, lion: The Netherlands?

Consider the developments in (South-East) Asia it is more likely a country like Japan or Taiwan would play a big part, instead of Germany which doesn't have any international influence.

 

The Bible was written in the Middle East and when the Bible speaks of the Great Bear of the north, only Russia is in that direction, and is identifided as the Bear.
China and some of the other nations are spoken of as the kings of the East who will raise up an army at the time of the end of 200 million men, and they will invade the Middle East.

 

And what came out of the LION and stood on its own two feet?

bush has turned the entire world against us, maybe some governments officialy support us, but not the peoplke of any one country..including our own. nostradeaumus predicted 911, but the way it was interperated was 2 nukes hitting nyc.. he was right we just enterperated it wrong. that was to be already 5 or more years into ww3 which bush sr actualy started..bush jr just kicked it into high gear..& over the next few years it will get so much worse that bush will not hesitate to nuke whoever he wants indescrimanantly.

Well, I'm not sure what kind of Bible you have, but unless someone ripped Matthew 24 out of your Bible, you might start there.

 

The Bible clearly speaks of this attack on America but it is a number of years off. It appears from all that I have read that it is about 28 years away.

 

Jerry, this attack on America will happen, but it is some years off. The prophecies in Jermiah state that there will be at least 2 years of warning before America is destroyed. In that two years many Jews along with many other people will be leaving America in order to escape. This is not happening yet, and if the prophecy is to happen, this event must occure first.
