When I go somewhere that I dont know people very well, I am always thinkin that they dont like me, and I always think I am ugly n no one would ever want me,and I dont know why I think it or why I cant stop thinking that....
I am the same way. Mostly I think the people are talkling about me in some negative way and they don't know me, and I dont know themn. Do you suffer from Depression or Social Anxiety Disorder? Those are some main things that cause that. I really struggle to be around people I dont know, beyond normal shyness- Peace Rx

back to the original post before all this petty and useless arguing evolved for no reason at all... I think the problem is you think too much, you think too much in the fact that no one will like you or think things about you... I know its hard not to think like that but you really shouldnt.. screw people, if that like you they like you if they dont they dont..fuck them.. people worry and assume to much and thats what the problem seems to be.. just relax and try to worry about silly things as to what strangers think of you.. i know its a lot easier said then done..and this post probably made no sense..

i used to be the same way when i had depression. i think it is just that i've been rejected by so many people that i just come to expect it. it's problably just a phase, eventually you'll problably grow more confident with time. what i did was i adopted this philosophy: 'if they don't realize that i'm a good friend and fun to be around and don't like me... f*ck them!' you won't have thousands of friends, but you'll have a few really good ones and be happier.
