The Allman Brothers Band and moe. are touring this year, if you didn't know already. Anyone hitting any shows? They'll be kicking off the tour by playing Summerfest (Milwaulkee, Wisconsin, July 5th) in fifteen days and ending the tour at Essex Junction, in Vermont on Sunday August 28th. They'll also be playing the New York State Fair for, I believe, the third year in a row. I've tickets to see them at VA Beach... woo, I was able to get second row center orchestra tickets, too. (Think I'll piss my pants). Anyway, this looks like it's going to be another great tour...

I'm going to have to catch the Big Summer Classic (SCI headlining, K-Dub, XR, New Monsoon, Umphrey's, Franti and Spearhead) show in Richmond on July 15th and make it to the ABB/moe. concert in the evening... Some good tours going on this Summer. I had tickets for the Zooma tour with Trey/Ben Harper headlining, but, as many know, it got cancelled... Also looking forward to Widespread Panic's tour. I'm going to see them two nights in a row in Portsmouth, VA. Hopefully will be catching CSN too.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to it. I've already had the privelege of seeing Gregg Allman and Friends, Xavier Rudd(twice), Gov't Mule (twice), Galactic, BB King, Black Rose Blues Band, Dark Star Orchestra, Rilo Kiley, and Yonder Mountain String Band, this year.
