    A darkening evening,
I see green in the sky
    For the moonlight reflects
The leaves from the tree limbs, tonight

    Flying above the grass,
    Firefly's delight
Flames flicker through the shadowed trees
    I'm watching them tonight

Thank you. That happens to be one of my favorite lines as well :)

Pretty good man. Why's it titled "Wanderlust"? You wish you were a firefly too? ;)

:p Well, I titled it "Wanderlust" because I had this feeling of just wanting to get out and wander, and so I went out for a walk and I ended up staying out until dark. As I was going home, I walked by this street that connects to a plot of trees behind someone's yard. There also may be a creek somewhere in those woods as well. I have walked by the street many times but, the other night the inspiration for the poem just hit me out of the blue as it was getting dark. The entire street and everyhting around it just looked way different and then I saw the fireflys. The words just fell right into place. Thanks for the compliments!

    Later,
    Ben.
