Personally, I'm going to go with a nerd option and pick Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors from the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight games.



Kyle is Mace Windu and Han Solo rolled into one. A kickass mercenary Jedi who's not afraid of getting his hands dirty, he's everything that sissy farmboy Luke should have been.

Jan is the intelligent one who saves Kyle's ass too many times. She's one of the few that Kyle trusts to get the job done, so much so that Kyle requested her by name to assist in the missions that eventually destroyed the Empire's "Dark Trooper" project. She also seems to be the only one that Kyle doesn't take the piss out of habitually.

apart from tintin and snowy maybe...

but the obvious winner is The Tick...and that other guy that was a moth i think...

Duuude...Kyle Katarn is the guy who singlehandedly stole the Death Star plans from an Imperial base. He went on to cripple the Empire's Dark Trooper Project, later on neutralising the threat of seven Dark Jedi and securing the Valley of the Jedi and saving the galaxy from another Empire. If that's not heroic...

If not, it's clearly Dangermouse and Penfold.

i have to agree Dangermouse and Penfold are my favorite, I've been sat here thinking about it for days, "after watching close encounters of the absurd kind!" i've decided they are the best duo for me.
