I mean, photography is an art. Anyways, everytime I photograph my fiance playing drums, the photos look all smeary and weird. Why does this keep happening?

Check your shutter and film speeds... If ur taking pics inside or at night with no flash it's gonna be pretty hard to avoid blur.

Shutter speed should be above 125 if ur shooting something thats moving... try for 500 or 1000.

Film speed should be at least 400 unless you've got really bright light. 800aso is pretty versitile for indoors

    No it's digital "olympus" :(
Without light (or how it's named?) can't be seen anything on the pics.
    blah..

Dear rasta.penguin, you seem very optimistic :)

Get a better, less motion sensative camera. I also own an olympus, but I specifically bought mine with motion capturing functions.

(Sepultura are a wonderful band, by the way)

Was it set on some sort of low light setting? If so you might want to change the exposure time.

yes... when max cavalera was there..

That photo I posted already was made by "auto program"

here are with "night scene" (which is grey) and without light..
I think it don't has the speed corector or something like that..

P.S. To be honest... That was the first time I've used that "machine"..
so there can be 1000 reasons to have bad quality. :&
