From way earlier this year, like feb or march. This is one of my first asgments for my Mac Painter class. Yeh i know it looks all rough but thats cause I wasn't even aware of layering or selections at the time i made it. I liked working with just the 1000s of brushes though... wut'dye'think?

i don't really like it personally, what were you going for... just an experiement in which case the techniques are really interesting and very effective textures... but... other than that as a compisition doesn't do anything for me. i think the background is so fresh for the rest of the piece.. :) not my cupa tea

it was supposed to be a landscape asgnment, so thats the idea of a landscape i had...

i wish the sky woulda came out different. but i started painting everything on one layer and didnt think to make the grey gradiate or anything... A comet or astroid belt woulda added to the excitment...

Basically it was an asgnment exploring the different brushes, brush techniques and brush variables in Correll IX.

I personally was amazed by how powerful Correll paint in compared to the crap i have on windows... like the simplest of brushes from correll runs circles around anything you can do on ms paint.

anyone else like screwing with the Opacity and Grain sliders as much as i do?

    I like the idea.

It reminds me the final of "The Matrix" :) where Neo flies away in cosmo :)

Oh this is Piter Pen!!! His shadow had run away from him!!

I agree Dandi, the texture of it looks too cartoony/fresh...It doesn't show me any depth in the texture...Sorry.:(

the shadow shooting off into space, kind of makes me think of an out of body experience, or daydreaming of some sort. Imaginative. It's a very keen idea. It doesn't look whole. I think you summed it up when you said u weren't aware of layering and stuff, but it looks like it's missing something.
