verses, wich are the most beautiful verses to you?

    mine are:

All I ever wanted, all I ever needed,is here in my arms.
    "Depeche Mode;enjoy the silence"

I can't see me lovin' nobody but you
    For all my life
When you're with me, baby the skies'll be blue
    For all my life

    "The turtles;so happy together"

I agree with you. The Turtles' song is so sweet!

As for my own picks, I really like the song "Starting Over" by John Lennon. There's no real sweet lyrics, but it's the way he sings it that makes it so sweet.

The middle section in Pain of Salvation - The Perfect Element

Once he had forests and mountains
That were only his - listening to him
Once he would run through the summer days
Catching memories for ages to come
Now he is dressing this naked floor
With his flesh and blood, and times passes by
His trade of pain might just have lead him
    To deal with consequence
For some change as time passes by

This is a pretty! Song!! called "Ocean by Ten Shekel Shirt" everyone should listen to it!!

    Something about the ocean
Makes me rise up and praise
    Something about the heavens
Makes me stand in awe again
    Something about the sunrise
    Reminds me of Your faithfulness
    Something about the ocean
And I'm lost in love again

pretty much all the verses/songs off of Dylan's Nashville Skyline and Blood on the Tracks.

and then there's Joni Mitchell, Ani Difranco, George Harrison, and others, obviously.

I kinda can't stand Joe Cocker's song You are So Beautiful but the words "you're everything i hope for, everything i need" sum things up perfectly :)

Neil Young - "The Needle And The Damage Done" - very sad and beautiful:

... I've seen the needle and the damage done
a little part of it in everyone
but every junkie' like a setting sun...

But my number one is Joni Mitchell's "A Case Of You" - it always hits me like a train:

I could drink a case of you, darling
and I would still be on my feet
I would still be on my feet

I think the whole of miss you by incubus is just beautiful

To see you when I wake up
is a gift I didn't think could be real.
To know that you feel the same as I do
    is a three-fold, utopian dream.
You do something to me that I can't explain.
So would I be out of line if I said,
    I miss you.
I see your picture, I smell your skin on the empty pillow next to mine.
You have only been gone ten days, but already I'm wasting away.
I know I'll see you again
    whether far or soon.
But I need you to know that I care
    and I miss you.

    awww.

    Gov't Mule "I Shall Return"

    As this wheel goes round
I search to find my way.
    Struggle just to carry on
    through an ordinary day.
I do belive I'm slipping away

I shall return, though I'm loosing myself
I shall return. I shall return from the depths of
my own hell, I shall return.

Faith should not have blinded me for your
beauty stills my eye's. And what good is
my wisdom, if there are no words to say
How I feel every day yeah oh yeah

I shall return though I'm loosing myself
I shall return. I shall return from the depths of my
    own hell I shall return.

Day light finds me sleeping, ??????(for got this part)
darkness calls my name out loud, will I answer to the truth?

Ah I got another one! Jimi Hendrix "Little Wing"
This is a song Jimi wrote about a groupie or many groupies.
Well she's walking Thourgh the clouds
with a circus smile thats running round
butterflies and zebbras and fairtales that's all she thinks about
    riding with the wind.

When I'm sad, she comes to me
with a thousand smiles she gives to me free
she said well it's alright its alright she said it's alright
well take anything that you want from me baby anything.

(and let the stratocaster sing jimi)
