Hello I'm new to this site and I just had a few questions in regards to some hippie articles of clothing. First off I would love to find a classic hippie headband something original not a costume piece a real head band. I understand I could probably make my own but unfortunately the material is fairly hard to find. So if anyone knows of any sites that sell real hippie headbands and hippie clothing thats not a costume shop it would be much appreciated. You can email me with the information to hippyman1252@comcast.net
o gosh me too. Love all that sort of stuff. It is way better when it hand made. Not from Wall-Mart. As far as i am concerned all that stuff is fake.
try fashion and crafts and the swap box. also type in hippie to yahoo and all sorts of clothing sites pop up
...*i got a really pretty skirt from this local shop called simple twist of fate..i'm not all that good at sewing, i wish that i was i lovvve that skirt steph
what? headband material is hard to find? huh, and i thought it was just whatever we could get that would fit around our head, i don't think anyone ever bought one... bandanas, funky belts, hatbands, whatever - i always added feathers on everything but that was just my thing that's just silly to buy a headband
I love searching through second hand shops and stuff. you always find the best stuffs in there and you probably won't find anyone else wearing what you've just bought.
hippies basically didnt v=care wat they wore they just wore watever they could find or make. they didnt care that mush about there apeerance. its just like you wake up and shake ur head of hair and put any clothes on and leave. y spend like 20 mins in front of the mirror, its pointless to me
true to that man!!.. Aha Shower can be enjoyable tho.. The water trikkling on you.. Geeze i love it.. or rain but i rarely see rain... lol So yeah i'm not the one who really cares about what i look like that day.. basicaly wake up, find some Random clothing, Brush my teeth then go do my day with out shoes
Now, I'm not trying to assert my supreme hipper-than-thou authenticity here, but headband material has never been hard to find, that's the point.
