i just bought some vegan, all natural liquid smoke. you know, that stuff they put in smokey things to make em smokey...well, the ingredients are pretty basic, and i do love how smokey things taste. how do i use this? well, i know, i just add 1 tsp to whatever i'm making, but on what? i'll add to eggplant to make a smoky baba ganoush. but what else tastes good smokey?
anything that would be prepared over a woodfire if we all had such access. any mock meat is helped by this, and I will put it in seitan as I'm making it. also cheeze spread with smoke is nice.
If you've ever checked out www.vegweb.com they have a ton of recipes that call for liquid smoke. I bet if you typed it in at the search part, it would give you a list of recipes that called for it.
