i made this from the tubey fabric ha ha. It looks like its hot pink! yuck. Its a dark redish color. They were surprisingly easy to make. I was happy about that. I dont like when things are complicated lol.

:H You did a great job. I can't make pants to save my life. And I have trouble with stretchy fabric. Oh well, I don't wear pants any way, only skirts.

i didnt use a pattern, i dont know how to use those. i just took a pair of jeans and traced around them and sewed em up.

Im gonna be making some fleece sweatpants next! After i get paid that is lol. Even with the employee discount, fleece is expensive! Damn hobby lobby!

Oh,those look excellent. I'm so jealous of your pants making abilities. lol.
Just to clarify things..you trace a pair of your pants to make a pattern. So how many pieces do you end up with? It looks like those have a seam up the front, and that's what confuses me..do you end up with four pieces to sew together(2 front,2 back)??

i fold the pants so both back pockets are touching. i trace around them and then i fold them so both of the front pockets are touching and trace it that way, then i cut both of those out and pin them onto more fabric and cut around those so i have 4 pieces all together. 2 front 2 back.

Then i sew the 2 fronts together up the middle(the naughty area! hehe) Then i do the same to the back so the crack is sewn up.

Then i lay them both down and connect them and ya really gotta sew them good and tight cuz i got a big hole in the other ones i made.

Holes in the pants are just not good.

Then i sew the sides. And hem the top, i put elastic in there. And hem the legs.

    and voila!

I hate that word too. Naughty area is a lot more femanine and less harsh than crotch.

I hope i didnt confuse ya too much though. I shoulda took pics while i was making them.
